Please note the following dates for public holiday closures for your GP Practice:

  • Easter - Friday 3 April and Monday 6 April 2026
  • May Day - Monday 4 May 2026 - GP practices only
  • Spring – Monday 25 May 2026
  • World Cup - Monday 15th June 2026
  • Fair Monday – Monday 20 July 2026 – GP practices only
  • Autumn - Monday 28 September 2026
  • Christmas – Friday 25 December and Monday 28 December 2026
  • New Year – Friday 1 January and Monday 4 January 2027

Please allow enough time to re-order your repeat prescriptions prior to these dates to ensure you have a continued supply.

Need to see a doctor? NHS 111 can help

If you need to see a doctor but can’t get to your local practice you may be able to be seen outside of normal practice hours or during public holidays.

Call 111 and if appropriate, the advisor will be able to schedule you an appointment with a GP or clinical professional.

If you could be better treated elsewhere, they will be able to direct you to the best place to suit your needs. 111 is free to call at all times.
