Almost 4,000 people are diagnosed with bowel cancer every year in Scotland.
The good news is bowel screening reduces bowel cancer deaths.
Everyone between 50 and 74 years will receive a test kit by post every two years.
Take the test. You can do it at home - it's quick, easy to do and it could be a lifesaver.
To find out more or if you require another screening kit please call the Helpline on 0800 0121 833, or simply complete the online form.
Visit the NHS Inform website for more information on bowel screening.
Cancer Research has produced a short YouTube video about how to do the bowel screening test.
